About the location.
Frautt Courtyard is a lively place in between three dorms and serves as a space for students to socialize and tan. People pass through here to go to the other colleges and/or the gym. There’s a fountain and trees, tables and chairs, with many buildings overlooking the space.
About the soundscape:
There’s a clear sound of the fountain throughout the recording which is a significant part of the soundscape. You can also hear footsteps of people going to class. Further, there’s a keynote of the generator’s hum throughout the entire recording which becomes imperceptible over time.
